Chris Pennie started playing the drums at the age of
13, but it wasn't until the age of 15 until he
decided to pursue music seriously. Then he became a
Berklee school of music attendant and got his degree
in Music Synthesis.
Chris has said that his drumming influences would be
people like Lars Ulrich from "Metallica", and
Stewart Copeland from "The Police". As far as music
inspiration, it would be like Sean Reinert from
Cynic. He uses a lot of what is called "Off Beat"
music style. This is where every thing he plays in a
continuous pattern but it is not a normal pattern of
any kind.
Chris has a side project called Idiot Pilot. They
are getting ready for their debut album entitled
"Wolves". They have been sharing the relationship in
music for about two years.
