Travis Stever is the lead guitarist for Coheed And
Cambria. He joined Shabűtie
and stayed in the band until one day the band had an
argument over gas money and they broke up. Later on Mic
Todd joined on bass and Nate Kelly left opening up a
spot for drums. that is where Joshua Eppard came into
the picture. He also left the band for personal reasons
in early November 2006. Both Eppard and Todd left the
band, but Todd rejoined before the began recording their
newest album, Good Apollo I Am Burning Star IV, Volume
II: No World For Tomorrow.
Travis and Claudio have played together since they
started in music. Travis has always been the one to bust
out a crazy solo, while Claudio keeps in rolling with
his meaningful rhythms. Travis has even been credited
for playing lap steel guitar for the song entitle,
"Wayne Andrews, The Old Beekeeper." Which is a song off
of Claudio's side projects first album, My Brothers
Blood Machine.
Travis, like Claudio, has a side project. Where he plays
lead guitar and sings lead vocals. His project is called
Fire Deuce. It has the 80's metal band kind of feel to
it. They have released one studio album so far, it is
called "Children Of The Deuce." He has many nicknames,
some of them include "Bone Beaver" and "Cleveland
Stever."
